In the Delta
The Mississippi Delta grabs you and pulls you under its spell. The rich history was evident everywhere, from names of places lodged in memory, small plaques marking key locations, and most importantly from discussions with people. According to many, life there has not changed much in the past several decades. As I spent weeks in the Delta among the warm and welcoming people it tugged at my heartstrings. These images are my celebration of this magical place and the humanity of the people who call it home.
