Time Passes Slowly
Time Passes Slowly is an expression of my experience during the Covid-19 pandemic. In a high risk group, in mid-March I began isolating at home. I stayed inside alone going out only for walks with my dog and to the grocery store. As someone who thrives on travel, stimulation and a busy schedule, this was a huge change. Often the only thing on my schedule for days on end was the Governor Cuomo’s daily press briefing, which I never failed to watch. It seemed that time was passing incredibly slowly. Hours felt like days. My world became very insular, and photographing it became vital to coping with this harrowing time and unknown future.
